Clear Speech Specialists, Inc. TERMS and CONDITIONS REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY/ ATTENDANCE POLICY …and more! Payment is due in full prior to the start of our classes. Once payment is received, we will order all appropriate materials for your specific class and have them available when we meet to begin your pronunciation training. For your convenience, we accept cash, cashier’s check, personal check, money order, over the phone credit card payment and online credit card payment [secured site for your protection]. Corporations enrolling multiple employees will be " E-Invoiced" with a "click to pay" option within the email for your convenience. We appreciate your prompt payment allowing us to order and receive materials quickly. We do not keep credit card information on file, therefore if you choose to register for a second class with us, we will need to have you re-submit your credit card information. We apologize for any inconvenience. Important note: IF YOU PAY BY PERSONAL CHECK WITH INSUFFICIENT FUNDS, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO PLACE YOU ON “CASH ONLY” PAYMENT STATUS OR DECLINE YOUR ENROLLMENT IN FUTURE CLASSES WITH CLEAR SPEECH SPECIALISTS, INC. A $30.00 returned check fee will be charged in the event of insufficient funds. This will be charged in addition to your financial institution's charges. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT REGARDING SPEECH CLARITY IMPROVEMENT Expectations: We are fully committed to your success in our program and assure you quality training provided with professionalism, compassion, and integrity. We abide by the American Speech Language Hearing Association’s Professional Code of Ethics, and are respectful to all . Due to the great and varied degree of clients’ listening skills, learning abilities and motivation levels, we are unable to guarantee the degree of success in our program. We do put in maximum effort, equal to yours, in order to help you reach your goals! On average, across the country, where pronunciation/accent training services are offered, most providers report that about a 50% reduction of current pronunciation errors is achieved after one 12-16 week program of individual or small group training. Our clients' post class scores ( individual training) are commonly in the 90% or higher range. Our experience has been that post-class test scores correlate very closely to subjective reports of improved speech clarity at work. In one recent call to a client's co-worker after class completion, the co-worker stated: “ I understand everything [the client says] now!". This was in comparison to understanding 60-80% at the start of class. Effective changes in speech clarity are realized for those willing to work hard! REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY and ATTENDANCE POLICY A full refund will be granted to registered participants if the class you are registering for is full or cancelled by the instructor. A refund, less a $50.00 processing fee, will be granted up to 31 days prior to the start of class if the request is made in writing and received by mail prior to the date that is 31 days in advance of the course. No further refunds will be made. Please be aware of this, as we do allow registration up to two weeks prior to the start of class! We would be happy to apply your registration fee to a future class upon your request, if completed within a 6 month period from the original class date. Regular, consistent attendance is necessary in our program so that we can build on skills learned the previous week. For this reason, participants should plan for 100% attendance. If multiple classes are missed in any 12 week period, course continuity may be compromised, requiring class cancellation. We understand that unexpected life events do sometimes interfere with scheduled classes, and we will attempt to reschedule one missed class if time allows within the 12 week class period.
We are not responsible for costs related to air travel, hotel reservations or other travel expenses, if incurred as a result of class cancellation for any reason. WEATHER RELATED CANCELLATIONS In the event a scheduled class must be cancelled due to inclement weather, we will attempt to reschedule the class at another convenient time for participants involved. We feel your safety is a top priority and would not want you in any danger in order to attend our training classes. |
